Some manufacturers round their metric units when converting from imperial. If your bilge pump is labelled as 3/4" or 20mm, this kit will still suit it.
This kit includes:
A 1.5m length of premium bilge hose.
2 x Stainless steel hose clamps
1 x 20mm (3/4") skin fitting
This Australian made, premium bilge hose is made of a thick PVC, with a rigid PVC helix wrap to give it strength. The spiral allows the bilge hose to maintain flexibility, making it perfect for small, confined spaces. The smooth bore ensures minimal friction, which puts less strain on your bilge pump. It also reduces moisture build up, which lengthens the life of the bilge hose and prevents salt buildup. The PVC is UV stable, and it conforms to AS/NZS 2070. This bilge hose is incredibly tough and rugged, and is perfect for the harshest marine environments.
The stainless steel hose clamps are corrosion resistant and tighten down via the locking pin (flat head screwdriver). The all stainless design is tough, resistant to any sort of wear and tear, and will hold the hose tight. The rounded edges and flat inside track ensure that the clamp won't cut into the bilge hose, even under extremely tight pressure.
The skin fitting is suitable for any hull make, whether it be aluminium, fibreglass, timber or any other material, without causing any sort of galvanic corrosion. This skin fitting features a 20mm barb tail, suitable for the supplied bilge hose. If you wish to fit a valve between the hose and the skin fitting, you can cut the barb end off, allowing access to the 3/8" BSP thread - suitable for a wide variety of valves. The skin fitting is UV and weather resistant, rounding out this extremely tough bilge pump hose kit, and making it suitable for any marine application.
