Counters are a critical piece of equipment when anchoring. The more knowledge you have about your environment and your equipment in areas you cannot visually see, the better. Some of the counters have additional features, such as safety locks, automatic operation for retrieval and deployment and warning signals for predetermined docking distance - all valuable features for easier anchorage use.
